John's Minibus Tours

Your host and tour guide, John McCormack

Your host and tour guide, John McCormack

Why not take a minibus tour of the Scottish Highlands personalised to your own requirements: e.g. whisky tours, historic castles, Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, the spectacular mountain road to Applecross, the ancient brochs at Glenelg to name but a few.

Your guide and host, John McCormack, will meet you in Inverness at your accommodation or, if you are arriving by cruise liner at Invergordon, Shieldaig, Portree or Ullapool, tours can be arranged from any of those places, thus making the most of your time in port.

If you are starting from Inverness, why not begin your sightseeing tour by taking the spectacular train journey on the Inverness to Kyle Line to Strathcarron? This was rated by Michael Palin as one of the Great Railway Journeys of the World and is definitely not to be missed. Just very occasionally there are steam-hauled trains on this line - as shown below - although unfortunately these are not a regular feature.
